All items shown are hand made, hand drawn and letterpress printed on a vintage SP25 Vandercook Letterpress. My press began it’s working life proofing newspapers, now it prints greeting cards, stationery, wedding invitations, birth announcements, books, calendars and calling cards.
Due to the letterpress process there are subtle variations between each printed piece, they are a bit like snowflakes and this shows their handmade, not machine made origins. Also individual are the images I use, it takes extra time and effort to draw everything instead of just using clip art, but there is a certain sort of magic in creating something new.
